The Institute of International Business (IIB) at Georgia State University offers a uniquely balanced blend of scholarship, teaching and community involvement in our thriving international location.
Of particular interest for the IIB is cross-border business activities and the study of the political, cultural, and commercial environment within which cross-border trade and investment activities take place. The institute links students, faculty, curriculum, and external relationships to create a cohesive, international resource, and to build a global mindset and enhance the global competitiveness of our students, faculty, and the business community.
CIBER Grant Renewal
The U.S. Department of Education has renewed CIBER’S grant for 2014-2018, with an award estimated at $1 million. We were one of only 17 that were renewed, including those at Brigham Young University, George Washington University, Michigan State University, San Diego State University, and the University of South Carolina.

Betty Feng Receives Ph.D.
The Institute of International Business congratulates Jing (Betty) Feng who was awarded her Ph.D. in marketing and international business in GSU’s Spring 2014 Doctoral Convocation. Betty has accepted a position as an assistant professor at SUNY Farmingdale State College in New York.
